Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Metergrade (“Metergrade”, “we”, “us”) handles information collected through metergrade.com and through the Metergrade Console at console.metergrade.com.
Information we collect on this site
The only personal information we collect on metergrade.com is what you submit through the assessment request form:
- Name, company and role
- Work email address
- Azure AI monthly spend range
- Any message you choose to include
We also process standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request path) for security and operations.
Information the Console holds
You sign in to the Metergrade Console with your Microsoft work account. Metergrade never sees your password. From that sign-in we store your email address, your display name, and the identifier of the Microsoft Entra directory you signed in from. We use them to authenticate you and to show who belongs to an organization.
An organization you create holds its name, its members, the settings you choose, an audit log of actions taken in it, and the assessments you run. An assessment is built from the export you choose to upload: operational and economic metadata about Azure API Management traffic. An export that carries prompt or response content is refused, and its content is not analyzed or retained.
Contact consent
When you create an organization you may tick a box that reads “Metergrade may contact me about this organization’s assessment.” It is unticked by default. If you tick it, we record that you did, with the date and the wording you agreed to, in the organization’s audit log, and we may email you about that organization’s assessment. If you leave it unticked, we do not contact you. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@metergrade.com.
How we use it
Form submissions are used to respond to your request, to prepare and deliver an assessment if you engage us, and for no other purpose. Console sign-in information is used to authenticate you and to operate your organization. We review new sign-ins and organizations so that we know the product is being used and can follow up where you have consented. We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising.
Cookies
This site sets only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we introduce product analytics in the future, this policy will be updated before that change takes effect.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that operate this site and our email on our behalf, under agreements that restrict their use of it, or where required by law.
Retention
Assessment requests are retained while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterward, then deleted. Console organizations and their assessments are retained under the retention settings the organization’s owner chooses in the Console. You may request deletion of an organization, or of your account, at any time.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your personal information. To exercise them, contact hello@metergrade.com.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a revised effective date.
